Scary Girls

I keep over hearing or encountering scary scenarios involving juvenile girls and, frankly, it fills me with fear for my future......  I over heard one teenage girl telling her mum 'I am never going to be able to trust you again', whilst at a kinder birthday party all the girls commandeered the bouncy castle whilst the Leader bossed them about, my 3 year old was quite distraught as they wouldn't let him bounce :-(.  I don't like tutus or head bows. What am I to do.  I will just have to enjoy her now.

I vant to drink your blood

...is the chant I can hear coming from a bedroom as son #2 practises his Transilvanian accent.  So we have gotten thru Halloween.  Costumes were home made this year, and I was rather proud of myself until son #1 told me that the wand I had made for him to be Lord Voldemart didn't have the phoenix feather in it that is was supposed to have, just as we were about to go out the door to school.  The night before son #2 told me he wasn't going to go to school in costume, the costume that had taken one morning of rummaging at Goodwill, one morning of spraying and cutting and one afternoon of sewing on extra arms.  I nearly imploded.  And now, they have (quite surprisingly easily) picked out 5 pieces of candy and put the rest in a bag to give to the Candy Fairy - for money of course.
