Not slowing down yet....
So I planned that this term would be less hectic than the summer and the summer term before that, but so far its not shaping up that way. I feel like a top, spinning around, and at the end of the day I am left to just spin 'til I fall....This week I looked at our calendar (we have a family calendar FFS) and it is quite ridiculous and will require some careful planning and some deft hand overs, including PTA meetings, new activities - skate boarding and karate, and a guitar lesson for me, which I am persevering with, but frankly, very little practice gets done. ANYWAY, today started very pleasantly with an out of the ordinary Yoga class. A friend wanted to go to the Come and Try session at the Y and invited me along, as I am already a member. I have to say it was a great way to start the week, with a bit of deep breathing and centering myself. Quite lovely. It was helped by a small girl sleeping until she was lifted this morning, instead of getting up with everyone else, and then the same small girl having a nap at the same time as the smallest boy. Bliss! On top of that I managed to pop to the LYS (not that local actually) to get the 'yarn' I had run out of AND it was on special offer, and there was exactly the amount left that I wanted. Score! How lovely. I must remember to read this later in the week (if I have the time), when things spin out of controlllllllllllll!
